FRIENDS with BENEFITS is the creation of Design Director Clark Sabbat and Creative Director Lynn Levoy. Together they bring a combined 20 years of fashion experience. Clark Sabbat attended the Parsons School of Design in NYC and worked as a designer in the US and Paris. Clark’s design heroes are Gres, Vionnnet and Charles James, all icons who had a distinct vision. Lynn Levoy attended Boston University and studied Communications. She went on to work at various fashion magazines and eventually, as a celebrity fashion stylist. Some of Lynn’s style icons are Jane Birkin, Francoise Hardy and Audrey Hepburn, all of whom are different yet embody strength and individuality. Both Directors have their own distinct point of view and an even stronger voice. After 13 years of friendship they reconnected not just as business partners, but are also now parents of 2 beautiful boys. Their relationship is about creating and building a foundation not only for a woman’s lifestyle, but also working together to build a warm and loving relationship for their family. The collections are a reflection of who they are, individually and together. Lynn also serves as the muse of the collections. The collections are modern, edgy and effortless. Today, women need pieces that they can integrate into their lifestyles. Our collections are studies in draping and simplicity using only the most luxurious fabrics and an eye for detail. The collections like ourselves, are forever evolving. With that in mind, we are excited to see what the future brings….
