German born, Athens based, Greek stylist, photographer, creative director and part time creative consultant, Tassos Sofroniou started his successful career from the age of 14, along with his academic studies with a diploma in Graphic Design and History of Fashion. After a successful career mainly as a fashion stylist, Tassos relocated to London in 1995. He worked for 3 years as a P.A to his icon and godmother of contemporary style, British stylist Isabella Blow. After a four year preparation period in February 2010 the first ideas and sketches were drawn and soon after Conquistador Menswear label was born. Conquistador was launched in Athens in September 2010 during Vogue's Fashion's Night Out. Conquistador Menswear targets the man who can balance style and originality in equal measures. The core business of the brand is the tops. Inspired by the all American college hoodie they are totally reconstructed with contemporary references and new proportions with multifunctional styling possibilities Recently, ArteSanal Conquistador was also introduced as a made to measure only service, bringing handmade leather jackets and trousers in limited editions or special designs, to cater for individual customers needs, or store requests for such kind. Conquistador is a menswear deluxe label, for the modern citizen, the contemporary rebel and the bold adventurer who discards seasonal trends. An urban hero who is confident and demands attention dressed in timeless, unique style.
