Asia Wysoczynska

Asia Wysoczynska is about to start her last year at the International Costume and Fashion Design School in Warsaw. She also studied Psychology of Creativity and Art, which gave her a deeper understanding of fashion design. Her aim is to design clothes that means something to the people who wear them. It's all about emotions in the end, isn’t it? What does she have to say about herself? "What is my goal? Exploring the vast space of beauty! To become a real explorer of new ways to express beauty followed by the constant self-development, as it is a necessary ingredient of the creative process. I want to stay open and help people wearing my creations to be open as well, so they can express themselves, feel and look beautiful. I love to play and uncover the beauty of the fabric by manipulating it through cut and volume. The richness of fabrics and simplicity of design lead to unexpected contrasts. I want to create innovative designs that allow the wearer to stand out; in a subtle, yet distinctive way. The clothes I design are a bit emotional. They are not just pieces of fabric cut and sewn together, but the objects cherished by their owners. For me, this is the essence of fashion and style."
