Bringing their new and refreshing collection entitled 'Sunday Morning' to NJAL, we catch up with this design duo to see how their experiences and challenges have changed how they design and think about fashion years later. American Perez has garnered its own identity with a recognizable fresh and feminine style. By mixing up the fashion codes, it is able to consistently offer strong collections by going to the extremes of classic and kitsch, however, their collections never seem vulgar and as a matter of fact are exactly the opposite, the funniest chic. With overwhelming artistic and creative intent, this Barcelona based firm, prides itself on having exquisite attention to detail and fabrics that give fragility, subtlety and tenderness when blended with something sexier. Since 2008, American Perez has filled some of the hottest runway shows in Cibeles Madrid Fashion week, holding a L'Oréal Paris prize for the best collection in AW2011 and has been appearing in prestigious publications such as Vogue, Yo Dona, Woman Magazine, Marie Clarie, Glamour, among others.
