ABOUT ME
Edith A'Gay considers her fashion an architecture for the human body based on geometric principles through material selection and refined cut pattern, right up to a reduced rate of stitches. Her silhouettes are completed with fine shadings, loose hanging ribbons, and lines in bright colours. The pieces of the collections are the visible moments in this process. Edith A'Gay describes her unique style as "reduced contemporary elegance for everybody and for every moment, and individually transformable outfits for one's image to celebrate the everyday". In her collections, the usual strong line is combined with fine, erotic and feminine elements. Edith A'Gay is a Austrian fashion designer based in Vienna. She graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts, Fashion Design, Vienna, in 1997 and her professors included Marc Bohan, Helmut Lang and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. With a track record of more than 4O participations at international fashion shows and projects, Edith A'Gay has been working on her own creations since 1997.
