Dimitri

The 45-year-old designer, whose full name is Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos, trained at the well-known ESMOD fashion design school before going on to earn a master’s degree in Fashion Design at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. The son of a Greek father and an Italian mother, displayed an affinity for fashion even as a child. He has been fascinated by it ever since, and worked for such renowned designers as Jil Sander, Hugo Boss and Vivienne Westwood before starting out on his own in 2007.DIMITRI stands for quality, accuracy and personality. A passion for music, harmony between accurate tailoring and styling as well as slim feminine silhouettes with a certain something defines his design. Dimitrios designs clothes for women with self-confidence; women of all types and personalities – strong women with a clear sense of personal style. The line between extreme opposites, such as soft/hard or innocent/corrupt, is what makes DIMITRI so exciting, and reflects the vibrant strength of Italian elegance.
Spring/Summer 2017 - DIMITRI is now launching its own Men's Capsule collection, which sets the two benchmarks for the quality and refinement of the cuts. The collection was inspired by casual dandies like Alain Delon and James Dean – fashion-conscious men who also integrate colors and patterns confidently in their outfit.

The looks of the men's collection are extraordinary and yet wearable, their individual parts can be combined wonderfully. In all, the designer is consistently pursuing his Italian fashion style, creating the favorite pieces that last several seasons.
