Valipse

Valipse is an independent label based in Romania that came to exist at the hands of the designer Erika Kozma. It is a result of the wordplay between the Latin words "validus" meaning validation and "ipse" meaning self. The core concept of Valipse is self-validation and the road to it. In symbolism travel is associate with adventure and inner discovery, motivated by the desire for concrete knowledge, the search for truth or spiritual awareness. A journey which consists of mental and physical challenges, where the bag serves as a tool and a companion, becoming part of the individuals’ unique story.
The accent falls on using what is available and making the most of it, by creating and transcending limitless ideas into tangible objects. Simple and quality materials covered in endless possibilities comes alive through the creative process, resulting in beautiful bags that balance both conceptual and easy to wear aspects. The designs underline versatility, functionality and uniqueness to fit different personalities and open the possibilities for self-expression through personal style.
Valipse takes its roots from visually stimulating shapes and lines that come from a wide range of sources. Architecture, abstract art, geometrical lines, roads, shapes and forms of nature, all contribute and inspire the process.
