Nelson Leung launched his label “NelsonBlackle” in 2013, delivering a playful and handcrafted menswear collection. Nelson has a distinctive style that will be recognised instantly ; it is a combination of a bold use of colours and unique concepts. ”NelsonBlackle”, mainly focus on menswear. He combines elements of glamour and sophistication with bold tailoring techniques. NelsonBlackle like to design their outfit with a story and a concern on trivial matters from daily life, designers combine their own artistic point of view into designs that suit practical needs as well.

With a whimsical and flamboyant attitude towards menswear, Nelson Leung launched his label NELSONBLACKLE in 2013 and was crowned the YDC overall winner in 2014. He soon developed a distinctive style driven by an amalgamation of bold colours and unique concepts in his designs. Drawing inspiration from daily trivialities and the inconspicuous details of urban life, Leung tends to construct a storyline and weave it through his collection. His latest collection pays tribute to Tsuguharu Foujita, a legendary Japanese-French painter and printmaker in the 20th century, and he aligned his creative process with the artist’s belief that things will never go haywire as long as the creator is persistent with his own work. While experimenting with denim and a variety of finishing techniques, Nelson endeavours to refine his garment construction with high-end craftsmanship. Expect to see a one-of-a-kind collection!
