CONFASHION

In her new collection CONFASHION's designer takes off from a natural balance between form and function, a fundamental guideline of a good design. One follows the other and that leads to a minimal but strong outline. The collection is founded upon contrasts between tints that are close to each other. Pinks juxtaposed with reds, greens with turquoise and black with grey illustrate how intense could be the performance of colors rooted to the same palette. This effect is farther enhanced by applying block geometric prints on a soft knitwear. A special paint has been used hence the color planes are not absorbed by the base fabric. Finally these areas were matted. Opposite to these color contrasts, there is a monochrome realm where metallic prints are incorporated into a cotton structure. Gloss and matte constitute a mood which may bring recollections of the past, with ideas of the "iron cast", the armor made of metallic rings or medieval robes of the saints and, on the other hand, a strong futuristic notion of a sophisticated technology anticipating human demands. 2013 Spring Collection puts forward natural fabrics that has already been associated with CONFASHION. This time it is mostly cotton, pure and blended with viscose or linen. Alongside with two main themes one will find there a loose interpretations of the present spring-summer fashion trends: stripes obtained by special yarn dyeing process, color blocking, stylized floral patterns abstracted by removing their colors, inside out jacquards and finally desert colors combined with pastel tones.
