Rebelling against the notion that vintage stores look like dusty indoor flea markets, owners Moon Rhee and HeyJa Do adopted a squeaky-clean aesthetic for their Manhattan shop. The duo chose white as their theme—relying on white-washed interiors, a white sign, and even a white bike whimsically placed out front. Just as the space feels modern and fresh, the collection veers from that of your average secondhand boutique. Part of the stock is new, with a rotating collection from designers such as Comme des Garçons and Vivienne Westwood, and what isn’t new comes from cult names like McQueen and Yohji Yamamoto.
