Studio Assistant

Jennifer Morris is a London based fashion designer specialising in luxury ready-to-wear garments. The brands unique selling point lies within its use of colour and texture to create original garments of high quality craftmanship.

Following the success of her Masters collection from the London College of Fashion, Jennifer Morris released her debut collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 which was exhibited at London Fashion Week in conjunction with Vauxhall Fashion Scout in February 2012.

Jennifer will be exhibiting with Vauxhall Fashion Scout again this season 14th-18th September.

I am looking for an intern to help with the preparations towards fashion week (4 weeks). Must be hands on and hard working with a keen eye for detail. You will be working directly with the designer so hopefully learn some new skills and gain insight into running a label.

This is a practical based role so experience working on garment construction and finishing is necessary. Also preferably experience working with fine fabrics such as silks.

There will be the opportunity to try out a lot of different tasks and help with many aspects of running the business. Tasks include: Cutting, sewing, beading, embroidery.

I am quite flexible but looking for someone who can commit to 3-4 days per week for 4 weeks
