JEWELLERY ASSISTANT INTERN

Maria Lau jewellery is where craft meets industrialised luxury. Recent exhibitions include Treasure London Jewellery Week and a showcase at the Aston Martin London showroom. The label’s press includes Phoenix, Retail Jeweller, Indie Magazine (Austria), The Pop, Grazia and Stylebubble as well as many other independent publications.

Jewellery assistant intern sought who has a textiles, ie mixed media/hand-woven and/or jewellery background. The ideal candidate will be reliable, a quick learner, adaptable, hardworking, as well as being interested in fashion and jewellery with an awareness of trends. You will be involved with creative and normal studio tasks, such as managing press requests and online orders.

Requirements: Good construction skills, ie. jewellery assembly/ hand-stitching, and keen eye for detail, working on a small-scale. Presently, we can't offer expenses however you will be working closely with the designer, so there is plenty of opportunity to learn and have input in the studio. Upon successful training, you may be offered paid piece-work.
