This is a great opportunity for graduates or students completing a degree in a Journalism, Publishing or Literature related subject to get hands-on experience, working in a fast-paced start-up environment with a rapidly growing designer base. RESPONSIBILITIES:
| Work closely with NJAL’s editorial team creating boundary pushing editorial content
| Commission and write articles and interviews
| Plan and manage editorial calendar up to 6 months in advance
| Be responsible for content management and database operations on NJAL
| Assist managing press loans and grow our relationship with the fashion community
| Assist creating the weekly newsletter

REQUIREMENTS:
| Extensive understanding of English grammar and syntax
| Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, additional language skills beneficial
| Studying for or have received a degree in English, Journalism, Literature or a related subject
| Must be able to represent the company through writing and fit the NJAL voice
| Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and basic experience using photo-editing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
| Extremely well organised, energetic, self-motivated
| Creative and independent, solution-driven thinker
| Can provide writing samples
| A love of fashion, the web and creative writing
