MARKETING, ADVERTISING & PR INTERN

Seeking highly-motivated, creative interns to join our team as we launch our first print edition of MOTHER Magazine. Must be organized, flexible, have a strong interest in fashion/art/visual trends and able to work remotely. A great opportunity to gain experience working with a trans-global team on a highly-anticipated publishing venture.

MOTHER Magazine is a new Anglo-Japanese publication in art, culture fashion and film. We publish a semi-annual online magazine here www.mother-magazine.com - and an accompanying blog here - www.mother-magazine.com/blog , both of which follow a particular aesthetic, featuring prominent new image makers from Japan and around the world. MOTHER | PRINT will launch in Autumn 2012.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with our editorial team to create press releases, contact relevant press outlets regarding advertising and promotion, and coordinate marketing through PR and social media.

REQUIREMENTS:
Understanding and passion for online media, excellent written English, advanced skills in Word, Acrobat, Photoshop etc, problem-solver, creative thinker. Experience with blogging/publishing.

Native Japanese speaker hugely beneficial.
