About the Designer

Comeforbreakfast is an independent brand created by Antonio Romano and Francesco Alagna in September 2009, a turning creative month for the duo, as Vogue Italia includes them in the season review of the emerging Vogue Talents.
The two young creators combine their different attitudes and experiences in a project dedicated to contemporary fashionwear and characterised by a cross philosophy with a highly stylistic content. Antonio, designer and fashion designer graduated at Polimoda in Florence, injects his artistic spirit to the line, proposing each season his inspiring prints which, since the very beginning, have been defining the distinctive motif of CFB. Francesco, graduated in Industrial Design, after attending the Master in Fashion Buying at Marangoni in Milan, starts collaborating with major international fashion brands, thus acquiring the commercial competence necessary for the development and growth of the brand. From the debut collections to the present, the research on the garments has been gradually and coherently defined up to a total look vision. The very first collection, a tribute to the women’s T-shirt, re-interpreted with illustration prints, has been later integrated with sweaters, trousers and suits up to the expression of a complete wardrobe, eventually including knitwear, shoulderpieces and accessories. CFB’s aesthetic codes can be translated in merely apparent essentiality and simplicity. Behind each garment there is a continuous research, aimed at complying with the modern fashion fit through a balance in materials, shapes and details studied in depth for a completely new concept of Made in Italy. C4B’s style is young, metropolitan as well as all-purpose, refined, and practical at the same time, something between basic sportswear and elegant casualwear, in which traditional fabrics such as cashmere and silk are used with absolute yet versatile silhouettes, matched together to create a total look or interpreted in different ways according to a personal styling. CFB is synonym of continuously evolving research which starts from the concept of unisex to extend to models dedicated to men and women, poised between spontaneity and industrial design and animated by textures and artistic prints composing the Noir Trilogy of the three main collections: from phobias and fears to flowers, from forests to the detailed close-ups of secular tree barks de-composed and re-composed in organic and mechanical graphics.
