A capsule collection representative of city architecture and the impact of technology on society. I have drawn inspiration from key words such as urban, construction, smog, steel, graphic and functional. The application of a neutral colour palette with shots of vibrant gloss suggests an industrial and electric vibe for the collection. A linear quality to the knitting consists of block shape and clean cut silhouettes together with a combination of fine and chunky knit form the base of which to carefully apply the exploration of the knit and purl stitches. These individual staple pieces with a utility twist are to be layered together portraying a chic and stylish collection.
