“Hello world I'm your wild girl” - The Runaways / Cherry Bomb (1976). For the inspiration of their collection for this spring CHATTY have chosen the musical formation The Runaways. This first ever all-female band was formed in the half of the 70s at Long Beach in California. The silhouettes of the Disquiet Collection SS13 are thus based on the rock-and-roll look of the fashion from the 70s and thanks to its “dusty” variety of colours should resemble faded pages from the band’s photo album. The line of seven outfits combines ferocity, boisterousness and femininity. The masculine elements interfere with the significantly feminine silhouettes and create playfulness and wearable extravagance. A significant part of the collection are the pieces with author large format digital prints. Sweatshirts, tops and dresses are decorated with fragile ornaments from gemstones, flowers and mystic animals. As a segment it then passes through the whole line as embroidery on the tops, T-shirts and vests. The denim this time combines almost all outfits of this collection. It appears not only on the jeans, for instance in raw crude quality, but also on washed out shirts or overalls. It is complemented with cotton with geometrical pattern, silky chiffon and jersey. Among the most interesting pieces belongs the treanchcoat vest with the back from a light knitted fabric or a biker jacket with a distinctive canvas texture in a rainproof coating.
