Alicia Grunert focuses on ethical, high fashion created in an attempt to redefine the meaning of the fashion world. Alicia’s design philosophy is characterized by the return to innocence and reflects an immense respect for the beauty found in artisan’s craftsmanship and nature’s detail. Her clothing is meant to encourage, encapsulate and enrich the lives of artisans by incorporating organic cotton and other natural materials into an Art Nouveau aesthetic.
Alicia attended Helen Lefeaux School of Fashion Design, graduating “Designer of the Year” in 2004. Upon graduation Alicia spent 2 years in New York working for renowned designers Yigal Azrouel, Lela Rose and Marc Jacobs. She also has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Royal Roads University.
