Drawing on her vast knowledge of traditional leather and millinery techniques, Carianne Moore debuts a capsule collection of womenswear pieces adorned by an armada of new world accessories. East London based fashion brand Carianne Moore is a labor of love for couple Mike Harding and Carianne Moore. Combing their obsession for organic design and the need to modernize the use of traditional leather and millinery techniques, Carianne Moore creates beautifully elaborate, sustainable pieces of fashion for woman with a scrupulous eye for detail and eminence. To achieve this desired finish each piece is made with lavish materials empowering women to be truly self-assured. For this AW11 collection entitled ‘Gloriana, Carianne Moore draws inspiration from the late 16th century fashion adorned by sovereigns and the futuristic designs found in modern Sci-Fi cinema, this debut collection of garments consist of soft sculptured wool and silk shapes with each article tailored using angular necklines made from soft leather panels detailed with Swarovski Elements. Designing her own future from the past, Carianne Moore draws on habitual disciplines to create a new age of sustainable opulence.

The brand Carianne Moore is a vision from both Carianne Moore and Mike Harding. This vision was first realized back in 2007 when Carianne and Mike met under the arches of the Secret Door in London and fell in love. There they discovered a common obsession for Science Fiction, earth’s natural species and above all the importance of traditional design and technique.
Carianne began her studies at Central Saint Martin’s before graduating from London College of Fashion where she received a BA honours specializing in Millinery and Leather-goods. She later went on to work with labels such as Dai Rees, Ksubi and Kirrily Johnston.
Since the launch of the brand’s first AW09 collection Carianne has collaborated with some of the most respected figures in the fashion world such as designer Karl Lagerfeld and photographer Nick Knight. This has led to Cariannes work being published in such international magazines as Elle Italia,Vogue Italia, Vogue Uk, Nylon and Dazed Digital to name a few. Drawing attention from the music world Carianne has created pieces worn by Paloma Faith and Alexandra Burke.
