The Rise is a story about an immensely beautiful Love Because it was so big, it was whole and therefore while it had beauty and tenderness, kindness and passion, it was also full of imperfections and anger, sadness and regret... Maybe it was so, that just because it was so big, even though it was whole, this Love got broken. This is a story about Love, Love that was misunderstood. And because the heroes in this story are human, proud, foolish and young, the Love was rejected And the hearts were shattered. Two hearts once One, became two and alone again. Yet one of these hearts refused to let go Held on to Hope Held on to Faith Held on to the Need to Love Ignoring the whispers of the Shadow´s Daemons Barely keeping consciousness through the Pain Long after Reason had fled, and the Other heart had turned to stone, it held on This heart burned in the frozen flames of rejection and Sorrow This same heart churned in the pit of Anger and Hatred This heart got lost in the shrieking forests of Madness This very same heart was finally, inert, too tired to fear, submerged into the Abyss Destroyed and Reshaped by Fire, by Earth, by Water and by Air, the Heart Knew itself no more And down there, in the Abyss, Something stirred, Something called Center which had no border Warmth without a source Space beyond Space Heart was lifted, gathered into a shapeless shape and was held by this Unknown, this Intangible Heart Knowing nothing Feeling only Now is the time to Rise
