Spring/Summer 2011 - the glamouros Collection "Sand & Silence" by CALLISTI The breathtaking, elegant and very wearable collection was photographed in the shooting mecca Capetown. Nobody less than the magnificent photographer Bob Leinders from Hamburg is responsible for the pictures. Designer Martina Müller travelled personally with her collection to Capetown to stress the details and colours of the collection supported by the special light in Capetown. The collection “Sand & Silence” exists of noble clothes in heaped, closer to figure, sexily shape from light, flowing materials in cream tones and noble black. Also futuristic designs are used and elastic materials were improved with sophisticated leather applications. Exposed shoulder parts and the waist stressed with belts parts of this quite special CALLISTI style! The colours White and Nude, further highlights in summer, 2011, are a big subject within the new collection. White and Nude stand for Martina Müller for the freshness of the bright season and the outfits allow her bearers to shine. The single looks, whether extravagant, long clothes, sexily minis or trousers suits, are designed in each case puristic and exactly the right thing for ladies with class. Besides, Volant applications look elegant-opulent and put the suitable female accent. The accessories like belts and bags stress tthe looks of the outfits furthermore and create contrasts by darker colour variations. The results are glamorous trend parts. The red thread which stretches through all CALLISTI collections, are the Greek elements like fragrant scarfs which can be carried in the Toga style around the neck or quizzical around the shoulder. Martina Müller also shows with “Sand & Silence” the connection to the origin of her trendy label to beloved Greece. The individual beauty of the woman stands always in the centre of her designs. Martina Müller allowed already to put once a CALLISTI-Fotoshooting of Bob Leinders in scene, the winter collection in 2009. It was a great shooting, a brilliant cooperation and the designer has tried since that time over and over again to win Bob for a next shooting, only both could simply never meet, finally... now it has worked once again - and that in Capetown! Both travelled for this great shooting in this unbelievable location which harmonises perfectly to noble collection. “I am glad in such a way that I could work together a next time with Bob Leinders. He has moved my collection in Capetown in the absolutely right light. The outfits and the ambience fit perfect”, according to Martina Müller about the great cooperation with the top photographer. CALLISTI means in the modern Greek: "Of the beauties and for the beauty!" - exactly this is transported once more with the Callisti outfits! About the Designer

Martina is based in Vienna, Austria. Her collections are produced in Austria.

Born in 1975, in Vienna, Martina Mueller has arrived enthusiastically on the fashion and design scene after several years. She started sewing at the young age of 13 for her friends and family. At 19 years old, she presented her first collection successfully in an avant-garde fashion shop in the Viennese 1 District. Then at 23, at the end of her university studies as a graphic-designer, Martina Mueller went to Miami and New York, where she derived the influences for her next collection. Her inspirations came from the diversity of the people, the Broadway theaters and the art and architecture. The elegance and simplicity of the architectural landscape, glamourized by mirrored glass and classical lines, with elegant, ornate details shows up impressively in her latest work.
In January 2007 Martina Mueller launched her label „CALLISTI“ and opened up the first store in Vienna 8, on the Lerchenfelder Straße 92.
The CALLISTI style is simple, straight and minimal, which emphasize the female body and its lines. Bringing out each unique woman‘s own femininity, not disguising it, it is a request to focus and bring out the advantages of the female body. Feminine, tailored, enhancing, cool & sexy designs but always with a noble, classical touch. Her hip and stylish accessories completes the CALLISTI collection and finishes off her look perfectly. „Reduced to the maximum“ is the mindset.
CALLISTI‘s Greek origins mean: „For the the most beautiful“ and this is what a woman should be and feel while wearing these creations. „A woman feels more beautiful than ever while wearing a CALLISTI dress“ say´s Martina Müller.
