BOYOR

The collection was inspired by hippies ideology during the 60's. The group was very close and respectable to the nature. Hippies fashion according to the recycling ideology. During that time they had to used old fabric, lather or ready clothes which they changed for different kind of clothes because they did not have money. Nowadays most people don't have this problem. People buy lots of clothes every year and every year most of them going to the rubbish. The idea for the collection was to use old denim and popularize in Poland recycling of denim which is very popular in USA. Jeans is the most popular garment. All generations wear jeans. It is a good idea to use the fabric for the new design. To create my collection I used colourful wires made of PCV used as an electric isolation in mains electricity. The psychedelic art popular during the 60's characterized by using lots of colours. Artists created optical impression of the depth and movement. It is another inspiration to my collection. Colourful wires made of PCV help me to design very avant-garde clothes which are the symbol of life. Recycling does not have to mean boring colours. Lots of different colours used in my collection is the synonym of the energy from nature, the energy which we need in our life. The shapes of my designs are very futuristic, because recycling is our future. The collection won the 1. Award during the international contests for fashion designers Re-Act fashion show (October, 2010).
