BENJI WZW is a luxury ready-to-wear brand that combines innovative technologies and artisanal craft. In an age of isolation, BENJI WZW brings together street tribalism and a sense of belonging through narrative sensitivity.----------------------------Before studying fashion at the world-renowned Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium (directly under Walter Van Beirendonck) and training as a tailor on Savile Row, Benji Wong Zhen Wang majored in architecture at the University of Waterloo, calling on the influence of graphic lines and structure in the brand’s visual identity.----------------------------BENJI WZW has been featured in many international fashion platforms, including Lady Gaga, Grimes in an exclusive feature for The Fader Magazine (September 2015), Metal Magazine, Surface Magazine, Fucking Young!, Glamcult Magazine, Kaltblut Magazine, Vanity Teen, Catalogue Magazine, Rough UK, Toronto Star, BlogTO, Post City, amongst many other features online and in print. In 2015, BENJI WZW was selected as 1 out of 100 designers from around the world to take part in Not Just A Label’s Origins Passion & Beliefs, engaging in panel discussions with Vogue Italia and Kelly Cutrone of People’s Revolution on business models and brand direction. The brand was also selected by TFI (Toronto Fashion Incubator) as 1 out of 4 emerging brands from across Canada to take part in a 6-month incubation process with established design professionals, magazine editors, buyers, and fashion icon/patron Suzanne Rogers.----------------------------DESIGNER NAME: Benji Wong Zhen Wang
