Becky Dockreee is a London based jewellery designer, she is influenced by her experiences, relationships and the thoughts and feelings surrounding these concepts. Becky uses her jewellery as a form of communication to create hand crafted statement pieces.
The jewellery combines etched designs with hand stamped text to display a narrative journey. Pieces are often created from a state of mind rather than planned construction. The images and words naturally carve themselves into the metals surface creating raw emotional imagery. The jewellery has an antique hard finish which contradicts and compliments the delicate drawings and personal thoughts imprinted into the silver.
Becky has introduced her fine art background into the construction of her pieces by hand drawing designs onto the metals surface to give an etched finish.
