Ashtiani by Golnaz Ashtiani takes a new twist on retro classic designs for her spring|summer 2013. The feminine collection takes a trip to the early 1960’s in the south of France with inspiration from luxe sportwear and fresh cocktail frocks. Featuring special touches and new fabrics such as silk organza, pvc and textured cotton,Ashtiani has continued her romantic and ladylike design story in structured 60’s silhouettes and accents of geometric appliqués and cut outs.

Golnaz is based in Toronto, Canada. She studied at LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION and graduated in 2007. Her collections are produced in Canada.

The award winning ASHTIANI was founded by designer Golnaz Ashtiani in 2011, Since its launch, the label has received praise from tastemakers such as Elle Quebec Editor-in-Chief Denis Desro and Toronto Star fashion reporter; Derick Chetty.
ASHTIANI has been featured in major Canadian publications such as Flare Magazine, Elle Canada,fashion magazine, and Globe and Mail.
A graduate of London College of Fashion in 2007, Ashtiani’s creativity and hard work helped her get a remarkable start when launching her own label.
Golnaz Ashtiani was named the winner of The Toronto Fashion Incubator’s New Labels competition in 2011 for her debut AW’11 collection.
Ashtiani’s work can best be described as a modernistic and clean-cut take on designs inspired by the classic era. The focus of the brand is on precession cutting and its impeccable tailoring and intriguing silhouettes in a wholly original colour palette and fabric combination.
