The style of Aroma 30 arises from the research of extremely different influences and the development of harmony among the contrasts. Austerity is softened into a dimension of romance, severity is defused by lightness, minimalism is mixed with decorativism while elaborating a language of aesthetic balance.
The items explore the possibilities of a fabric and its material identity through draping, pleating, twisting and layering.
The style of the brand keeps a strong craftmanship on the key pieces of each collection through the
development of inticate details, which are constructed on the mannequin in order to adjust the volume to the body and its movements.
The femininity of the collection walks the line between a light freshness and a clean severity, and translates this contrast into decorative elements featured by diaphanous, sheer layers and monochromatic shades, while depicting a vision of semplicity and complexity at the same time .
The designer Michela Fasanella was born in Rome, where she graduated at Accademia di Costume e moda before studying Fashion Design and Marketing at Central St Martins College in London. She collaborated with Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino and then started up her own label Aroma30. Renowed for her handcrafted signature items, Michela's focus is on timeless pieces. Her italian background is visible in her love for quality and wearability. Inspiration is taken from christian iconography, insects and the contrast between geometric and soft shaped in nature.
