COLLECTION SS09 'Pottery' grounds on a certain fascination for clay and glaze - the materiality, the 'floating into each other' of the glaze-colours, the enourmous brilliant shine. We like the uncontrollable and highly coincidental aspects in modelling clay and in glazing sculptures – these spontanious aesthetics that awake in the process of 'doing'. Here you get very close to a point where Beauty gets vivid, without a cause. All the color areas you see here are handprinted.
