ALISON_DUNLOP
A new collection of leather accessories inspired by the rigorous geometry, repetition and use of line found in the work of Minimalist artists Frank Stella and Josef Albers.
Made from vegetable tanned leather with a suede lining. The simple shapes are given form through laser cut geometric patterns.
About the Designer
Alison is based in London, United Kingdom. She studied at Royal College of Art and graduated in 2009. Her collections are produced in United Kingdom.
Born in Scotland, Alison Dunlop studied Sculpture at Glasgow School of art before moving to London to study Fashion Accessories at London College of Fashion and the Royal College of Art.
Her work combines aspects of both disciplines, with structure and form at the heart of functional works. She experiments with surface and texture to create three dimensionality and movement. Geometric patterns often allow shapes and silhouettes to shift, creating multiple forms and functions in one piece.
