Alexandra de Curtis launches her Spring '10 line introducing exciting yet enduring handbag designs using fine Italian leather and suede and South African ostrich skin. The collection features six handbag styles, a wallet and a coin purse that combine innovative shapes with high-end design and modern functionality. Alexandra Bee’s signature is the distinctive interior of her bags; the many pockets are designed to carry all women’s essentials: blackberry, i-pod, lip-gloss, mobile, passport, and even an extra pair of shoes! Available in Indian Pink, Indigo Blue, White, Brandy, Brown and Black, her collection spans from a day clutch to a hobo. Alexandra Bee knows that women want style and ease of use from a handbag. For that reason, her collection carries subtle design elements such as hidden pockets and luxurious suede-lined interiors. The size of the bags ensures that there is enough room for necessities and more.

Alexandra is based in Rome, Italy. She studied at London College of Fashion. Her collections are produced in Italy.

Alexandra’s signature is the distinctive interior of her bags; the many pockets are designed to carry all women’s essentials: blackberry, i-pod, lip-gloss, mobile, passport, and even an extra pair of shoes! Passionate about design from an early age, Alexandra de Curtis started the company in May '06, following the discovery of a gap in the market for stylish baby bags. Following the yummy mummy trend, she created her first line with working women and mothers in mind, and drew inspiration from her many travels and friends.
This is her second collection after taking some time off to be with her family, following the birth of her daughter Mia. Even though this new collection is more fashion forward, every piece is named after a baby girl born to a friend in the last year. With each piece hand crafted in Rome, Italy, Alexandra’s handbags assure the highest standard of quality.
