Pasionae

Pasionae is a contemporary jewelry label based in New York. Its designs, which include many bespoke and one-of-a-kind pieces, reflect an intriguing and experimental use of color, shape and texture conveying dramatic and bold fashion statements. Using the raw, natural forms of precious stones and diverse elements such as emerald, wood, glass and silver, Pasionae gives each individually handcrafted accessory a unique personality. Primarily inspired by human passions, each of Pasionae’s metamorphic designs capture powerful emotions and stay true to the concept of l’art pour l’art (art for art’s sake).

The Designer: Candela Turco was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and of Italian descent, Candela Turco began her artistic career at a young age, studying painting and drawing at her father’s atelier, and later at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires. Candela quickly became interested in the world of fashion and moved to New York to pursue a degree in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), from where she graduated with honors. Troughout her career she has designed for prestigious fashion labels including Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
